Fire in apartment leaves one dead

A fire entirely destroyed a third floor apartment in a four-story building in Nakasone, Okinawa City, shortly before noon on Apr. 18. An unidentified body was found in one of the rooms of destroyed by the fire.
A person living in another apartment of the building said that a man in his 60’ was living in the room. Attempts to locate the man have not been successful, and investigators suspects that he is the victim.
Okinawa City Police continue investigating the cause of the fire and trying to confirm identity of the body.
