Urasoe Police arrested Tuesday a man on suspicion of counterfeiting a ¥10,000 banknote and using it at a supermarket.
According to police, 61-year-old Ken Arakaki was arrested after he used a fake 10,000-yen note to pay for a purchase at a supermarket in Nishihara. He is suspected of making the fake bill using a copy machine.
