“Come with me and you’ll be in a world of pure imagination” are the opening lines to Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka JR. presented by Pacific Okinawa Players (POPs), the only community theatre organization on Okinawa committed to providing quality live theater experiences for all SOFA members, both onstage and off. Join us at the Community Center Theatre on Camp Foster as our young performers bring to life one of Roald Dahl’s most beloved stories.

Whoever comes up with these tickets will win a free tour of the Wonka factory, as well as a lifetime supply of candy. Four of the five winning children are the brats you love to hate, but the fifth is a sweet child named Charlie Bucket, who takes the tour in the company of her equally affable grandfather. The children must learn to follow Wonka’s rules in the factory – or suffer the consequences and the Oompa Loompas
