Matsufuji and Danryu win Best Awamori Awards
The Japan International Alcohol Association announced May 6th the award winners for the Best Alcoholic Drinks in Spring 2016.
Matsufuji Premium Blend from Sakiyama Distillery in Kin Town and Danryu from Kamimura Distillery in Uruma City were awarded the honors of the best in the Awamori Category. The association names the award winners twice a year, in the spring and fall with the aim of encouraging breweries or distillers to hone their skills to produce higher quality products. The latest awards ceremony was held on Apr. 25th in Tokyo.
The top three title winners in each alcoholic drink category are invited to exhibit their products at The Best of International Alcohol Exhibition in Shanghai this summer.
