Empty wheelchair found by river near Tomari Bridge
Naha police received a phone call about 20:00 on May 9th reporting that an empty wheelchair had been left on the road close to Tomari Bridge.
Naha Police and the Fire Department rescue team searched the area, both on land and in the river suspecting that someone had stepped off into the river from the wheelchair, but they found nothing. No reports of a missing person in a wheelchair, has been received, either, by May 10th.
The wheelchair had the name of a hospital in Naha written on it, but the hospital officials say that all of their patients are accounted for.
