Sweet tooth has field day at Chura Sun Beach this Sunday
Very few things are as irresistible as the aroma of freshly baked bread or cookies, and unforgiving has to be the character who can fight without succumbing to the temptation.
A festival making an unabashed counter assault on our battle of the bulge is scheduled to take place this Sunday, Apr. 17th, at Chura Sun Beach Minami-hama multi-purpose space from 11;00 to 16:00. The event is scheduled to go ahead rain or shine and admission, including parking, is free.
The festival is organized twice a year, and has proven to be very popular as most of the participants sell out their stock well before the scheduled end of the event. So, coming early is strongly advised.
More than 30 stores are scheduled to participate in the event. Most of them are small bakeries and sweets makers who put an emphasis on using fresh and natural ingredients. Details on each individual stores are on facebook, albeit mostly in Japanese.
Participating shops include several gourmet coffee shops, smoothie shops, bread makers specializing in no-preservative ingredients, waffles, cheese cake and scones.
