OCVB publishes Okinawa guidebook for Muslims

Okinawa Prefectural Government and Okinawa Convention & Visitors Bureau, OCVB, have published a guidebook for Muslim tourists.
7,000 copies of the guidebook will be released and distributed to Muslims through tourism related companies overseas and business fairs. The guide book is B5 size with 16 pages, and contains information on experience-based tours and shopping, plus in addition to a list of hotels and restaurants that meet Muslim people’s needs.
According to OCVB, 14,900 visitors from countries with large Islamic populations, like Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia between April, 2015 and February this year visited Okinawa. OCVB aims at more promotions for tourists from Islamic countries.
