Yomitan man nabbed driving drunk 7 times over limit

Kadena Police arrested on the spot a 32-year-old man from Tokeshi, Yomitan Village, who runs a pork business on suspicion of drinking and driving in addition to driving without a license.

According to the police, the breathalyzer test showed about seven times the legal limit of alcohol in his breath when he was stopped on a street in Uza, Yomitan Village about midnight on Dec. 17th.

The man has admitted to the charges. Police suspect the man has continued to drive without a license for more than a decade.
