Peach Aviation to add Okinawa flights
Officials at Peach Aviation, a Japanese LCC airline, announced that the carrier starts to run a new route between Naha and Narita from Feb. 20th.
Also, the company will increase flights between Naha and Taipei to two round trips a day on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays starting on Feb. 19th. The company is currently running one daily round trip flight between Naha and Taipei.
The flight between Naha and Narita will run round trip three times a week on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays and one round tip a day.
With the summer schedule, starting from March, Peach is scheduled to start flying the flights between Naha and Narita every day, and flights between Naha and Taipei will increase to two round trips per day.
Three airlines, Jet Star, Vanilla Air and All Nippon Airways (ANA) currently fly the route between Naha and Narita. Competition between the carriers is expected to intensify once Peach Aviation starts flying the route.
