Pro-baseball season opening games held Saturday

Japanese professional baseball season opening games took place on Feb. 21st.  On that day, five games were held in Okinawa and Miyazaki prefectures.

In Okinawa, four games, Yomiuri Giants vs. Hiroshima Toyo Carp, Chunichi Dragons vs. Chiba Lotte Marines, Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters vs. Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles and Yokohama DeNA Baystars  vs. Hanshin Tigers took place Saturday.

Every venue was crowded with baseball fans.  The game results of the first day of the series was that Yomiuri Giants that has won the Central League championship three times in a row opened with win scoring of 4-2 against Hiroshima Toyo Carp. Chunichi Dragons defeated Chiba Lotte Marines 9-4.

On Feb. 22, three games tool place in Naha, Chatan and Urasoe City.
