Two JSDF members suspended from duties for DUI

A sergeant and a cadet of the Japanese Self Defense Force received administrative punishment in addition to fines meted out by the Traffic Court after they were nabbed for DUI

On Jun. 19th, the JASDF Onna Air Base announced that a 32-year-old sergeant of the JASDF 5th Air Defense Missile Group would be punished by a 25-day suspension from his duties for driving under the influence in Nago City.

The next day, on Jun. 20th, the JGSDF 15th Brigade Army Headquarters in Naha, announced that a 23-year-old cadet who had been caught driving under the influence in Tomigusuku City was sentenced to 15 days of suspension from duties.
