Two candidates for Kin Town Mayor

Two candidates are running for the mayor’s post in the Kin Town mayoral election this Sunday. The incumbent, Tsuyoshi Gibu, is not running and will retire.

65-year-old Former Town Councilor Tamotsu Ginoza is running as an independent. He is facing the former Superintendent of Education 59-year-old Kazuki Nakama, who is also running as an independent.

Both candidates were born and grew up in Kin Town, and have had extensive careers in elected Kin town offices.
