Police band concert in Ginowan on Saturday

Okinawa Prefecture Police Band performs their annual concert for the 28th time this Saturday at Ginowan Civic Hall.

Taking a break from fighting crime, the Okinawa Police Department and the Ginowan Police Department are picking up musical instruments for a free concert.

The Saturday afternoon concert takes place at Ginowan City Civic Hall.  Admission is free, but spectators must have numbered tickets available by calling (098) 862-0110, or (098) 898-0110 in Japanese., or visiting any Japanese Police Station. Only a limited number of tickets are left, and first come first served. This is the 28th time the Okinawa police perform their periodical band concert.

Some of the musical selections will be the Tokyo Olympic March, Fuji no Yama, It’s a Small World, and more.  The program begins at 3:30 p.m.
