3rd Children’s Festa pulls kids together on Sunday

The 3rd Naha Children’s Festa brings various children’s groups together to perform and interact at three venues in Naha, Sunday.

A variety of children’s groups will have the opportunity to interact Sunday at Ryukyu Shinpo Hall, the Palette Civic Theater and open place.

The event is the 5th Children’s Festa in Naha, bringing boy scouts, girl scouts, athletics and art together for a day of fun activities focusing on how youngsters can better communicate with each other to create safer communities within cities such as Naha.  The Naha Education Executive Committee has organized the free event, which is open to everyone.

The Children’s Festa runs 10 a.m. ~ 5:30 p.m. on Sunday. It features performing eisa, musical performances, dance, and Japanese percussion by the kids.  There will also be exhibits of works created by children.  World No. 1 street dance group “Salty Shine” will perform in the open place.
